In the feature film, Water Girl, The joys of motherhood quickly become overshadowed by agony when Nkechi discovers that her daughter, Kamsi, is bound to the cyclical existence of the Ogbanje- a spirit child trapped in a maze of life, death, and rebirth.

 

Water Girl is currently in film festival contention, and is an official selection of the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival, a qualifying festival for the Academy Awards.
